Continue
Continue was an Apache-2.0 coding agent shipped as a VS Code extension, JetBrains plugin and CLI, with bring-your-own-model configuration including local models. Its website now states that Continue was acquired by Cursor. The repository README says it is no longer actively maintained and describes a final 2.0.0 release that removed telemetry and sign-in so the code works without the company's hosted services. It is not a viable new entrant for the catalogue; the final release still installs but receives no fixes.

The continuedev/continue repository is read-only and 'no longer actively maintained'; a final 2.0.0 release (VS Code extension, CLI, JetBrains) shipped 19 June 2026 with telemetry and authentication removed. Hosted cloud data was deleted after 15 July 2026.
