Gemini Deep Research
Gemini Deep Research is an autonomous research agent available in the Gemini app, where users can review and edit a research plan before it runs, and export reports to Google Docs. Since 21 April 2026 Deep Research and a slower, more thorough Deep Research Max, both built on Gemini 3.1 Pro, are available in public preview through the Gemini API's Interactions API, with MCP support, File Search, multimodal inputs and chart generation. It is also integrated into NotebookLM, Google Search and Google Finance.
