Khoj
Khoj is an open-source, self-hostable personal AI assistant designed to act as an extended second brain. It connects to personal notes, Obsidian vaults, Notion pages, PDFs, and local documents to enable offline and online natural-language search, chat, and automated research agents. While the hosted Khoj Cloud service was sunset in April 2026, the AGPL-3.0 codebase continues to support local execution via Docker, desktop clients, Emacs, and Obsidian using local LLMs (via Ollama) or user-supplied API keys.
