Paradox (Olivia)
Paradox builds Olivia, a chat- and SMS-based assistant that screens candidates, schedules interviews and handles onboarding steps, mainly for frontline and high-volume hiring. Workday acquired Paradox in October 2025 and sells Olivia as the Workday Paradox Candidate Experience Agent. Pricing is not published. In June 2025 researchers found a default-password admin account and an IDOR flaw on the McDonald's McHire deployment exposing up to 64 million applicant records; it was patched within a day of disclosure.
Acquired. Workday completed its acquisition of Paradox on 1 October 2025 ($1.0B cash). Olivia is now sold as the Workday Paradox Candidate Experience Agent, through Workday or Paradox; paradox.ai remains live.
