Superset
Superset is a desktop app (macOS primary, Linux experimental, no Windows) that gives each task its own git worktree, terminals and ports, and runs any terminal-based coding agent unmodified inside it. It adds a diff viewer, PR workflows, an in-app browser, agent status notifications, scheduled automations, a CLI/SDK and an MCP server. Source is published under the Elastic License 2.0 (source-available, not OSI open source); a free tier covers local use, and paid tiers add remote access, integrations and a mobile app. The company went through Y Combinator (Launch HN, May 2026).

- Terminal-first design lets users run the real Claude Code/Codex CLIs with their latest features, which reviewers contrasted with Conductor's custom chat UI

Agents in the chat pane can request tool approval and plan review; access to files outside the workspace prompts for permission. CLI agents run unmodified with their own approval settings. The README states worktrees 'do not sandbox processes', so there is no default sandbox. source
